Designed By Harp Players, Built For Harp Players
Protected by U.S. Patent No. 12,536,983
"I always struggled with having a harmonica in the way of my vocal mic while performing. A traditional harmonica holder can get in the way of the performance, so I set out to build one that lets performers move from singing to blowin' a harp seamlessly."

Inventor of HarMotion
Meet the Inventor
Built by a Performer Who Needed It
HarMotion was invented by Steven Keene, a singer-songwriter from Brooklyn who has played folk and Americana since the Greenwich Village club days of the early 1990s. Night after night, a traditional neck rack sat between him and his vocal mic. So he set out to build a holder that brings the harmonica up when the song needs it and moves it out of the way when it doesn’t.
The result is HarMotion: designed by harp players, built for harp players, and protected by U.S. Patent No. 12,536,983. HarMotion is made by HarMotion, Inc. in Edison, New Jersey.
